Dr. Almeida-Scaff uses a comprehensive approach to mental heath viewing the patient as a whole. By taking a thorough medical, psychiatric, social and lifestyle history, she takes into consideration all aspects that could contribute to the patient's presenting concerns.  She works collaboratively with her patients, as well as treating therapist and other providers to create a personalized, evidence-based focused treatment plan for the desired improvement areas. She provides psychiatric care to patients between 6 and 50 years of age in English, Spanish or Portuguese.
